sWe have a Designated Teacher for Looked after Children (Mrs Helen Allister-Webb) who is also the SENCO she ensure all teachers in school understand the implications for those children who are looked after and have SEN.
The Designated LAC teacher (and SENDCO when needed) review the child’s progress through the PEP process with the relevant Local Authority and carers. If the child also has a SEND Support Plan / EHCP this can be reviewed at the same time.
