Recently a group of our Year 6 pupils qualified to represent our school as part of the Derwentside District Team competing against the other six districts of Durham at the Durham County Athletics Competition held and Shildon Athletics Stadium. This competition was a great opportunity for the pupils to demonstrate their excellent athletic talent in a professional athletics stadium against pupils from across the Durham area with a large crowd of spectators in attendance. The children had a great day giving their absolute all in their respective track and field events and should be extremely proud of all their effort. Go Team Delves!
