Recently a group of Year 6 children took part in the SLP Tag Rugby Festival at Consett Rugby Club. They had a fantastic time despite the gloomy weather and grew in confidence as the day progressed. They worked brilliantly as a team demonstrating great sportsmanship and determination throughout finishing in 4th place overall out of over 20 teams. They even managed to walk away with their very own free water bottle from Consett Rugby Club. All the children were fantastic ambassadors for our school and should be very proud of all their efforts.
