Year 1 recently participated in their Indoor Athletics House Cup Event. All the children really enjoyed getting into their house teams and competing against one another to earn house points for their team. There were lots of activities to try out including sprints, hurdles, jumps and throws. The children had great fun applying the movements skills that they have been working on in PE lessons this term and enjoyed sharing their personal challenges to run faster or jump further with each other. All the children were really well behaved and showed great sportsmanship throughout by cheering on everyone, not just their own team. The scores were very close in the end but well done to the Unicorn House who were the overall winners!
