Several of our Year 6 children have been busy competing in the Derwentside Cross Country League this half term against a wide range of pupils from other local primary schools. Last Thursday was the final meet of the competition and we are very proud of the fantastic determination and enthusiasm shown by our pupils throughout. Well done Jake, Alfie, Phoebe, Lizzie-Mae and Brooke – you have been fantastic ambassadors for our school!
We would also like to extend a special congratulations to Alfie who finished in 3rd place overall in the individual boys category out of over 60 children and will now have the opportunity to represent Derwentside District at the county competition later in the term. Go Team Delves!
