Recently, our Year 4 pupils had the opportunity to take part in Durham County Council’s Bikeability cycle training programme. The aim of the course was to improve cycle skills and road craft so that our pupils can cycle confidently within the community.
The children began the day by checking the roadworthiness of their bikes before putting their skills to the test in a range of different activities designed to promote positive cycling. The children had lots of fun taking part in the programme and everyone successfully achieved their Level 1 qualification. A big well done to all the pupils who took part this year!
